Allan RossFerguson是新西蘭皇家科學院院士，國際園藝學會會士，一直致力于獼猴桃種質資源與新品種選育、獼猴桃栽培和病蟲害防控等相關研究工作，發表和出版了一系列富有影響力的論文和著作，是世界著名獼猴桃研究科學家。
